Happy cat Café was very fun. Ray is their resident blind cat and he was super adorable. I was lucky enough to see him play so that was very exciting. Overall, I would say the price is fair. I wish they had snacks or some kind of food but they only serve café drinks. Staff was very kind and helpful. They allowed us to enter prior to our appointment time because there wasn’t that many people, which I greatly appreciated.

Absolutely adorable! This café had tasty coffee that is just the right sweetness level. These cats and kittens were the cutest! There is churru treats available to feed the cats and they go feral for it! I Absolutely recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit a café with a calm, quiet environment with some furry friends!

I recently traveled from Ohio to visit this charming café. I conveniently pre-ordered a large mocha coffee for $6 through their website, ensuring it would be prepared upon my arrival. The clerk provided excellent service! I then paid $13 to enjoy an hour with the cats, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and I was the sole visitor during that time. The cats were incredibly friendly, and all are available for adoption. They even have a resident cat who is blind. I savored my coffee in a tranquil room while gently petting the cats, finding it to be a very calm and relaxing experience. Additionally, they have a wonderful gift shop and offer a variety of petting packages to choose from. I highly recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in Grand Rapids, and I am already looking forward to returning!

Happy Cat Cafe is a must if you're in the area. The staff is very friendly, and the drinks are delicious. The resident cat Ray is the highlight of every visit. Half an hour is enough to get to know the current kitties but I recommend an hour+ for spending time playing and getting time to pet every one!

Highlight of my day which was spent roaming all over Grand Rapids visiting various coffee shops. I had never heard of this place until it popped up on Google Maps. I have a cat and have been a cat dad for close to 20 years (Arrow (RIP), Cole (RIP), and Moya Sun). This place is amazing. It’s a nonprofit who uses coffee, drinks, and other goods to help cats get adopted. You can pay a fee to go to the “cat room” and hang with the cats for either 30 min or an hour. Again, totally worth it and it goes to a good cause. The cats are awesome and the space is all about them. The staff told me that the cats there are able to be adopted and they have done a LOT of adoptions over the years. These folks are doing the good work. I chose to drink an iced chai (delicious) as I watched the cats (my method has always been to let the cat come to you and never force things). I was greeted by a few of them and it was a lovely visit. If you like a friendly staff, enjoy supporting good causes and love cats - just go and enjoy. You won’t regret it.

We visited grand Rapids for the first time and we knew we were in for a treat once we found this cat cafe! Be sure to use the parking lot because you cannot access the café from the street. The café itself is separate from the Kat area. This was a relief for my family who was not convinced cats and food should be combined in the same area. We enjoyed our drinks And we had a wonderful time playing with the cats. Each cat is identified and has their own bio. You can see this information to your left once you enter the Kat café. We did not stay for the entire 30 minutes which we paid our seven dollars a person for, but we knew the money was going toward a great cause so we did not mind paying. I would highly recommend checking it out if you have a time. Wonderful staff very clean and bathrooms were both accessible and gender neutral.
